What is Zazou.mu?

Simply put, its an online e-commerce portal that allows consumers to shop wherever they are in addition to Zazou physical store located in Candos - Mauritius.


Who can use Zazou.mu? 

Anybody can! Just remember if you're under 18 you'll need your parents/guardian to make an online payment.


How do I find my way around the website? 

We've made it really easy for you to find your way around our site - the best place to start is by clicking the Shop Online icon on the top left of the homepage to take you wherever you want to go!


Can Fancy Dress costumes be tailor-made? 

Personalized Fancy Dress costumes can be tailor-made, transforming your ideas into reality. Prices will vary according to design, fabric and complexity. Please contact us for a quote with all the details such as fabric choices, designs, pictures and measurements on this email sales@zazou.mu.

We prefer 3 weeks notice to make a costume. However, if you are in a rush, we will always do our best to help you. We may need to take measurements or carry out fittings in our shop at Candos.

If you wish to buy your own fabric, please note that we will require you to visit us at our shop in Candos, for measurements prior to cutting, and will also require you to come for a final fitting before completion.

Placing your order

Can I save my cart items and return later? 

Yes you can! Create your wishlist by logging in or registering and we'll let you know if your product is in stock when you are ready to buy.


How do I order on Zazou.mu? 

Its easy! Once you have found what you are looking for, all you need to do is:

  • Register to create your account or continue as guest
  • Start shopping by adding items to your cart
  • Click to checkout
  • Confirm your billing & delivery address
  • Pay and await your delivery


If I order from Zazou.mu for home delivery, what documents do I need to show? 

You just need to show valid ID (Mauritius ID, Driving License, Passport, etc) and email/print copy of your proof of purchase to the delivery person.


When can I order using Zazou website? 

We're online for you 24/7 - so you can browse and order any time you like.


Do I need to have a Zazou account to order? 

No, its not essential, you can login as a guest. But… we really do recommend that you signup to enjoy speedier checkout, get the latest updates and best deals.


Is there a limit on the number of orders I place on Zazou.mu? 

You can order as much and as often as you like.


How do I know Zazou.mu has received my order? 

We'll drop you a confirmation Email as soon as we receive an order. We'll also give you a call if you have made any special requests.


What if my stuff is different from what I ordered when it arrives? What if my order is delivered wrong? 

Hopefully this won't happen! We always carry out quality checks and ensure your products are carefully packed and delivered to you in perfect condition. You should however check the items delivered at delivery/ collection point and inform the delivery person before signing the delivery slip.

Just in case your stuff arrives damaged, do not worry, call us with your order number and we'll be happy to replace the item as soon as possible.


Can I cancel my online order?

Unfortunately, it will not be possible. Once an order is placed online, it is considered as sold.


I’ve ordered a gift, can Zazou deliver it gift-wrapped?

We will be more than happy to gift wrap your order item(s), just mention this in the special request section when placing your order.


How much does gift wrapping cost?

Rs 30 per item.


What if my order arrives incomplete? 

Make sure you check your order when it arrives (before signing the delivery slip) - if there's a problem, don't worry, just give us a call on 5763 3768 or email us at sales@zazou.mu and we'll sort it out for you.


How do I know my online order has been confirmed? 

As soon as we receive your order you’ll receive a confirmation by email. Remember to check the details. If you have any special requests, our

customer service team will give you a call.


Is there a minimum online spend? 

Nope, spend as little or as much as you like, the delivery charge remains the same though, Rs 350 per order.


Can I order over the phone? 

No, unfortunately. We are currently working on it.


Can I track my order online? 

Yes you can track your order journey as it makes its way to you.


How do I know if the product I want is in stock? 

The quantity of the products are mentioned on the page. We'll also confirm this by email/phone once your order is with us.


Can I pre-book/pre-order? 

Coming Soon. Check out this space for updates.


If I order more than one product, will they all be delivered together? 

Yes, all your products will be delivered together


What if I check out on the zazou Website and cannot continue shopping? 

Click on the CONTINUE SHOPPING button on the checkout page or just click on the Zazou logo - this will take you back to our home page. 

General Terms & Conditions

Can I see products in real life before buying online? 

Yes, of course. Just visit our Zazou store at Candos and we will be happy to help you.


Can I add to my order once it has been placed? 

Unfortunately not, all our customer orders are passed directly to our warehouse for shipping.


If I don’t want to pay online on the Zazou website, what do I do? 

You can chose the Click & Collect option. Our Candos store accept cash, Credit & Debit Cards payments.


Can I pay part online, part cash on Delivery? 

We're afraid not.


Do I get a receipt for my online order? 

Yes, as soon as your order is submitted and confirmed we will send you an email confirmation, you'll also get a printed copy when your order is delivered.


What happens if I lose my original order invoice? 

Don't worry! We will email your order invoice to you and you can also view it in your order history when logged in to your account.


What if my order payment total is different on my credit card as compared to my online order? 

Please call us on 5763 3768 or write to us on sales@zazou.mu with your order ID and we'll sort it out as soon as possible.


Do you have additional charges for different payment types? 

No, you will pay the same amount irrespective of your mode of payment. The price remains the same for credit card purchases as well as cash on delivery.


Can I redeem gift vouchers or coupons online? 

Sorry, we're not currently offering this service but working on it - watch this space!


Can I email Zazou about any issues or give feedback? 

Yes. We are here to help. You can mail us at sales@zazou.mu and you will receive a response within two working days.


Am I able to return my order? 

No unfortunately, all products once delivered cannot be refunded or exchanged. You are required to check the condition and conformity of the products delivered at the time of delivery/collection, i.e. before you sign the delivery/collection slip.
